School Partnerships
Lindamood-Bell has extensive experience in partnering with schools to increase student achievement. We help educators provide evidence‑based, sensory‑cognitive instruction as a basis for developing phonemic awareness, phonics, orthographic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
Our partnerships with schools have succeeded in closing the achievement gap by providing explicit, cumulative and systematic instruction in this methodology. We have substantial evidence of effectiveness with turning around low-performing schools and increasing reading proficiency with struggling readers, including students with dyslexia and in special education.

Fort Smith Public Schools
Dyslexia Initiative
Since 2017, Fort Smith Public Schools in Arkansas has successfully implemented Lindamood-Bell interventions for k-2 students with, or at risk for dyslexia.
Over 300 teachers have been trained in the programs and the district significantly reduced the number of students performing tin the lowest tier on the IStation universal screener.
FULTON COUNTY SCHOOLS
Transforming Special Education
Fulton County Schools in Georgia serves a large percentage of students who are at-risk of reading failure. During the 2019- 20 school year, Fulton County implemented Lindamood-Bell® instruction to address the specific needs of its Special Education students. 263 students received 1 semester of small-group Seeing Stars instruction to develop symbol imagery for reading. Instruction was delivered by Fulton County teachers who received professional development in the programs created by Lindamood-Bell’s founders. Student gains were measured with the iReady Reading Assessment.

Is your child having a hard time with math?
Math remediation is not about more worksheets or memorizing steps. It is a targeted, structured approach that identifies why a child is struggling and rebuilds the foundational skills needed for lasting understanding.
At Lindamood-Bell, our On Cloud Nine® program integrates imagery with language to help students connect math concepts to verbal reasoning. Students learn to understand the process behind the problem, strengthening both reasoning and computation.
